There were lot of rumors that Sun Pictures bought the therictal rights of Vijay, Jeeva, Shrikanth starrer 'Nanban' directed by Shakar.Gemini Film Circuit put a 'full'stop for all the rumors by saying,
"We didn't sell the marketing rights of Nanban to Sun Pictures. Nanban is our highly hyped forthcoming home production which will hit the theaters on Pongal. Our banner will distribute Nanban, all over Tamil Nadu and Overseas, as of now. Further, We have bought Vikram's Rajapattai. We are planning to release Rajapattai on December 16, as we don't want a clash with the hulking Nanban."
